SAttu SOTA

is an artist-driven brand founded by self-taught, multidisciplinary creator Sattu, more commonly known as Veronica. Rooted in the belief that art is a mindset, not just a medium, SOTA ("State of the Arts") represents boundless creativity—a space where expression knows no limits.

Born and raised in Maryland, with Ghanaian and Sierra Leonean roots, Sattu’s work is shaped by culture, resilience, and the freedom of artistic exploration. She has multiple forms of expression—painting, music, tattooing, textiles, videography, and fashion—blurring the lines between mediums to create work that is raw, fluid, and distinctive.

Holding a degree in Biology from Towson University, Sattu’s scientific background informs her creative process; offering a unique perspective on nature, interconnectedness, and the ever-evolving relationship between humans and the environment. This fusion of science and art allows her to tell stories that are both deeply personal and universally resonant.
